You’re busy. I know. I am, too. But even with all the craziness that each day brings – responsibilities, bills, super-human ‘to-do’ lists, etc., you have to make time for yourself. You have to take a stand to that little voice inside your head that says, “Oh, but wait, you have more to do and can’t sit for a second.” Nonsense. Invite a friend, share with a loved one, or sit quietly with yourself – after work, on a day off, or on the weekend, and indulge in this recipe for a soothing “Rum-Latte” that will allow you to…relax for a bit, get off your feet, give you some extra energy, and feel a little less stressed.
Ginger Coconut Rum-latte
Makes 1 serving
1/3 cup hot milk
1 tbsp. Domaine de Canton French Ginger Liqueur
1 tbsp. Coconut Cream Liqueur
2 tbsp. Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum
1 – 2 shots of espresso (depending on your preference; it’s your break, do what you want)
Pink Peppercorns for garnish (if you want; I like to chew on them while I sip my rum-latte)
Heat the milk in whatever cup you plan on drinking out of…and make it nice, no paper or plastic. In another cup, pour the alcohols (all three), and pour the shot(s) of espresso into it. Mix. Pour into your hot milk.
